I found this esquisse quite interesting. At first I was a bit stumbled and did not know what to do, but after some sketching, smaller scale mock-ups and minor adjustments over time, I was able to come up with a system that locked together perfectly whilst also holding over 100kg in weight.The system involved two separate pieces coming together as one. The first was a triangular like connection which folded to form two triangles of maximum strength. To join this together and to add maximum strength a bounding box is incorporated through a slit cut to produce the final piece shown above.
